I just spoke to the doctor and Katie's second thyroidectomy was a success! She's waking up from the anaesthesia now. I'll send another update later today.
By the way, thanks for all the love and support. If I had a dollar for every one of our friends who said, "let me know if there is anything I can do," I'd have enough money to buy up all the toxic assets.
